Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 2:25 Haydock - Divine Comedy

This is a wide-open race, and the ultra-consistent Divine Comedy looks like a solid choice. He’s risen through the ranks under claimer Kaiya Fraser, winning five times and placing another six times in the 12 races in which they’ve paired up. In that time, his mark has risen from 63 to a lofty 102, but based on recent efforts at Royal Ascot and York, he should be capable of giving his running and looks sure to go close.

Tip 2 - 2:35 Kempton - Kalpana

This is a high-class field as you would expect for the September Stakes, and we go for a relative novice who looks to have bags of potential to go further. Hamish heads the market having won this race three years ago and won plenty of Group contests since. But Kalpana has impressed this season in hot company and could go further. In receipt of a full stone on Hamish, this three-year-old could be ready to win her first Group race.

Tip 3 - 3:15 Kempton - Valkyrian

The four-year-old Valkyrian never seems to run a bad race these days, and having finished a clear second at Southwell on Tuesday probably gets in here before receiving a few pounds from the handicapper. His last six runs have seen three wins and three seconds, all three of those wins came when Saffie Osbourne was doing the steering, and she is back on board this weekend.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
