Ralf Rangnick is the new Manchester United manager until the end of the current season. The German will be keen to guide the Old Trafford side to a top four finish at the very least and a cup run in either the Champions League or FA Cup, or both. Barcelona are struggling without their talisman Messi and are currently seventh ahead of the first El Clasico of the season at the Nou Camp.

Napoli's perfect start to the season is on the line this weekend when they travel to Roma on Sunday. For all their success in Serie A, their lead at the top of the table is a slender two points from AC Milan. Defending champions Inter are third with a seven-point gap to close on the leaders while Juventus seem to have got their season back on track after winning their last six games in the league and Champions League.

Bayern Munich have proved that their 2-1 defeat at home to Eintracht Frankfurt was nothing more than a blip by beating high-flying Bayer Leverkusen 5-1 last week and winning their third Champions League tie 4-1 at Benfica on Wednesday. After another dramatic weekend in the Premier League, the top three sides all registered wins. Manchester City beat Burnley 2-0 while Liverpool ruined Claudio Ranieri's return by beating Watford 5-0.
