Manchester City were favourites to win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup this season with football betting sites. until they were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid on penalties. Jurgen Klopp's side could only finish fifth last term, but they and Arsenal have been pushing City all the way.

Jurgen Klopp's and Mikel Arteta's teams have banked an outstanding return of 71 points from 32 games played. The only defeats for Liverpool have been away to Tottenham after being reduced to nine men before conceding a late winner, on the road against Arsenal, and most recently at home to Crystal Palace. 

There's also Arsenal, who have a chance of usurping City. The bookies make them a 9/2 chance to claim the title after missing out to Manchester City by five points last season. 

Could Man City Fail to Land Any Silverware?

It's a wild notion, but there's a chance that Manchester City might go from treble winners to having a potless season. There are no guarantees in football, especially in knockout competitions as City have previously found to their cost in the Champions League. They have now been knocked out of Europe and have a tough FA Cup semi-final to play before reaching the showpiece final. They also have Arsenal and Liverpool breathing down their necks in the league.
