Tip 1 - 12:20 Leopardstown - Kaid d’Authie

Kaid d’Authie got close to Majborough on his only run in France, and you would think a repeat of that level of form would be enough to get the job done here. He was cruising on debut at Navan for Willie Mullins before falling, and considering the money came for him that day he probably wasn’t going to stop. That fall probably means we get a better price this time out though.

Tip 2 - 2:00 Leopardstown - Bob Olinger

Because of how good he was as a novice, Bob Olinger probably doesn’t get the respect he deserves. He has the reputation of being an inconsistent horse, but he has only finished outside of the first three twice in 17 races under rules. With all his opposition having questions to answer, he can take this with another under the radar performance.

Tip 3 - 2:55 Newbury - Regent’s Stroll

Regent’s Stroll has looked like a serious operator all three of his visits to the track, winning comfortably each time. The form of his last win was given a boost on Boxing Day when Good and Clever, who finished nine lengths second to him, managed to get closer to Potters Charm than he did to Regent’s Stroll. A step forward from Regent’s Stroll could put him beyond the reach of the rest.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
