Tip 1 - 12.45 Kempton - Fire Flyer

Only beaten last time out by what looks like a very well handicapped horse, it was surprising to see the handicapper left Fire Flyer alone after that race considering he finished well clear of the rest of the field. Cobden and Nicholls have been a formidable partnership when it comes to handicaps on big days, this could be another for the list.

Tip 2 - 1:05 Aintree - Potters Charm

Unbeaten in four under rules and looking impressive in the process, Potters Charm should probably be a shorter price. The reason he probably isn’t is that his last three runs have been over 2m4 and 2m5. However, he hasn’t looked like he lacked pace in either of those runs, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he looked just as good over this shorter trip.

Tip 3 - 2:30 Kempton - Banbridge

The only question mark really here is stamina, but considering Banbridge’s best performance came over 2m4 at this track when he wasn’t stopping at the line, he should have enough of it to get the job done here. A very ground dependent horse who gets that ground today, he can count himself unlucky not to win last time out when trying to give Energumene 8lb and can gain compensation today.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
