Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 12:40 Catterick - Normandy Legend

This doesn’t look like the strongest juvenile hurdle we’ll see this season, and it’s not likely to take much winning. Normandy Legend was among the highest-rated of these on the flat and wasn’t beaten that far last time out at Ludlow. He’s a consistently inconsistent sort, but if he can translate his flat rating to jumps, he may be able to improve past the standard set by those at the top of the betting.

Tip 2 - 2:05 Ascot - Terresita

The match fit Terresita comes into this on the back of a great reappearance in a listed chase. She may have been raised 10lb for that win, but the manner of it suggests she could take that in her stride. Galia Des Liteaux is a fair yardstick, and having her over a length behind means there is headroom in Terresita’s revised rating of 135.

Tip 3 - 3:15 Ascot - Regarde

Regatta De Blanc and Law of Supply certainly hold appeal at the top of the market, but Regarde shouldn’t be underestimated after going in on seasonal reappearance last month. Six-pound rise for that easy victory shouldn’t be out of reach for a yard that has four winners from their last 11 to post. Is now three from six over fences and should be there or thereabouts again.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
