Tip 1 - 12:47 Ayr - Hostile Hotelier

Hostile Hotelier best performances have always made it look like the horse would be suited by a step up in trip. Unfortunately, the only time he has tried 3 miles so far he ran into ground much softer than he enjoys. Firmer ground today should see him to better effect, and with a recent run under his belt he should have match fitness on his side.

Tip 2 - 1:47 Ayr - Not In Kansas

Two smooth successes has seen Not In Kansas rise up the weights, but as she has yet to run over this extended trip, there could be even more improvement to come. She has ran through the line in both wins so there is a feeling the longer distance is what she needs. Bruce Lynn, who was on board for both wins, rides again today and takes off a handy 3lb.

Tip 3 - 2:55 Ayr - Love That e/w

Five-year-old Love That showed some ability in novice/maiden company earlier this year after showing some decent point-to-point form. Went off a huge price in novice debut and finished third, just seven lengths behind a horse rated in the 120s now. Subsequently finished a neck behind Bishop Hill in third, who is rated 105. A mark of 97 here looks workable and has shown enough to be more than competitive in this company.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
