Tip 12.35 Cheltenham - Prairie Angel

Joseph O’Brien sends Prairie Angel over to try and take some prize money back to Ireland, something he has done with regularity over the last few years. Prairie Angel took well to hurdling last time out, scoring by a few lengths despite giving weight away. On the receiving end of allowances this time out, she can make it back to back wins over jumps.

Tip 2 - 2:20 Cheltenham - Ga Law

Some horses known to enjoy the fences at Presbury Park take up this race, but it is Ga Law who we side with over a host of others. Loves it round here, as evidenced by two wins, one of which was this race two years ago. Will relish the good ground, while some of the other contenders might want a little cut in the ground. Returned from a 168-day break looking in fine fettle for second at Chepstow last time and should only come on for that.

Tip 3 - 2:55 Cheltenham - Thanksforthehelp

It’s not often a horse owned by JP McManus leaves a big pot on the table, but that was the case last year with Thanksforthehelp. Then rated 128, he was sent off favourite for the Pertemps at the Cheltenham Festival and finished 8th. He’s mostly been woefully out of form since, but now finds himself racing off 118. Some improvement from his comeback run four weeks ago can be expected and he should go close if on a going day.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
