Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 1:30 Ascot - Bad

Bad came over from France with a big reputation, going off at just 5/1 for the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham last year. He never quite lived up to the billing, but as a 5yo, there’s still plenty of time for him. His last three runs at Ascot over hurdles have been more than promising, and starting his chasing career here could benefit him. For many punters, he’s running out of chances to deliver, but he’s worth a punt in this.

Tip 2 - 2:22 Wetherby - Sandor Clegane

History is littered with top staying hurdlers who reverted to smaller obstacles after a failed stint over fences. Big Buck’s is the poster child for that career path, and while it’s unlikely he’ll be able to repeat that legend’s accomplishments, Sandor Clegane might be up to the challenge of going back over timber. He never looked the most natural of jumpers over fences and could have too much against older rivals and others who aren’t proven at the trip.

Tip 3 - 3:27 Newmarket - Bolster

Bolster looks ready for this step up in class. With his last four handicap runs resulting in form figures of 1121, and now rated 111, it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing him in another handicap any time soon. The style of his more recent win at York was impressive, seeing off the in-form Stressfree, who in turn was nicely clear of the third. Trip and ground should be fine and he’s the joint-highest rated in this field, so he has a lot going for him.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).

Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?

The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch.
