Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 1:57 Carlisle - Donnacha

The favourite hasn’t convinced at his attempts over hurdles so we will take him on with Donnacha. He was progressive last season over hurdles and holds a rating there is still some room in, particularly if he takes to fences. He has put in some nice performances over the ground and distance, so there are no worries on that front.

Tip 2 - 2:05 Brighton - Mini Mac

Just a small field for this one, and most of the runners have shown a modest level of form to date. Mini Mac is the one who stands out. He’s had only the one run so far, finishing third on debut at Bath last week. He got loose before the race that day, which wouldn’t have helped his chances. Given the circumstances, he ran a cracker and proved his ability to handle soft conditions. He’s the one to beat.

Tip 3 - 4:50 Carlisle - Keep Running

Keep Running gets into this handicap chase back off his last winning mark. Not only that but this is his first time out after a wind op. His jumping has gradually improved on every chase start, so if he can put a clear round together today he will have a lot in hand over the opposition.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
