Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 2:50 Punchestown - Single Edition

Two good runs finishing behind two horses who have subsequently been raised by the handicapper should mean Single Edition is well treated here today. Single Edition was beaten 1¼ lengths by Sayitfirst last time out but meets that rival on much better terms today, and considering how the form has been franked, probably got away with only being raised 2lb.

Tip 2 - 3:35 Market Rasen - Zuul

There aren’t too many in this race that hold a great deal of appeal, but it must be won by someone, and we think it could be Zuul, who had a couple of good runs here in June. Reappeared after 96 days in September so should be in fine fettle today off a mark of 82 that looks very workable. The six-year-old is stepping up in trip to 2m7f for a yard that is in decent nick, with two winners from the last five going to post.

Tip 3 - 4:25 Newcastle - Laudable

Laudable rattled off a hat trick in August and September, which saw his mark rise from 47 to 59. He’s run three times since and, despite not managing to win again, has continued to run well in defeat. His wins have come on a range of different ground conditions, so there’s reason to think he’ll be versatile enough to handle the switch to all-weather. In a low-grade race with most of the field struggling for form, he looks like a solid pick.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
