Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 1:50 Tramore - Garde La Peche

The lightly raced Garde La Peche gets the chance to take advantage of a hurdles mark 7lb lower than the chase one he has been running off recently. Having only raced three times over hurdles, he is still unexposed over the smaller obstacles. In addition, having won a point-to-point on heavy ground in the past he should have no issues with getting through the mud today.

Tip 2 - 2:20 Tramore - Carrig Carol

This looks like a particularly weak handicap hurdle, full of horses out of form. Carrig Carol certainly fits the bill, having been beaten 23 lengths in her last run, but there’s cause for optimism. That was her first run in four months, so she’s sure to strip fitter today. She also reverts to hurdling, now off a two-pound lower mark than her last win. In a race that won’t take much winning, she might be the answer.

Tip 3 - 2:30 Sedgefield - Harper Valley

Bang in-form Laser Focus heads the market at present after two convincing wins earlier this month but is effectively up 20 pounds for those two successes. Having never won previously, this is uncharted territory for the six-year-old. Harper Valley won this race last year and has made a couple of solid appearances this season, including a second by a neck in a higher class race 17 days ago. Should be right there at the end.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
