All odds up to date on 19 March, 2024

England's attention has turned towards the players who will be selected by Gareth Southgate for next summer's finals with players jostling for positions on the fringes of the squad, and the latest squad announced by the manager for friendlies with Brazil and Belgium could give a big clue as to who might be on the plane in the summer.

Despite not holding down a regular spot with Arsenal, Aaron Ramsdale appears entrenched as one of the three goalkeepers. Aston Villa's Ezri Konza has returned to the squad and must be a good shout to make the summer squad at Euro 2024. Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has been named in his first squad, and Manchester United youngster Kobbie Maino has been called into his first squad as an injury replacement. If either get on against Brazil or Belgium, their odds to make the squad with most betting sites are likely to shorten even more.

The Chelsea midfielder is making a big impact this season and has 14 goals and seven assists in all competitions for the struggling Blues. Meanwhile, Lewis player a man of the match award for his performance in North Macedonia and will hope to break into the final 23-man squad. Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo looks to be this season's surprise package having starred for United in the handful of games that he has played. He is yet to make an England squad, but it wouldn't be a surprise if Southgate looks his way.

The betting apps allow customers to bet on any player to make the England Euro 2024 squad, and the odds suggest that Raheem Sterling might have played his last game for England. It's also likely that Mason Mount won't be heading to Germany next summer, with Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope also set to miss out given his shoulder injury that has seen him miss much of the season.

Betting sites think that Jordan Henderson is likely to be included after his recent move to Ajax, with Chelsea defenders Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Levi Colwill also in the mix, even if Blues captain James will be a fitness doubt. Ivan Toney has hit the ground running after returning to action in January and could well make the squad, while the likes of Curtis Jones, Tino iIvramento and Dominic Solanke could all make late runs for the squad.

Could Mainoo and Livramento Break into England Euro 2024 Squad?

Kobbie Mainoo has only played in 13 senior games for Manchester United, but he has really turned heads this season with his performances in the middle of the park for Erik ten Hag's men. So much so that his odds of making the England with the best football betting sites have tumbled in recent weeks from not even being on anyone's radar. If he continues the same form, he could be a good shout to make the final squad.

Eyebrows were raised when Newcastle signed then-20-year-old Tino Livramento for over £30 million from Southampton last summer, but he is another uncapped player who will be eyeing up at the very least a debut with the Three Lions in the lead up to the tournament. While the odds with most betting sites don't necessarily suggest he will definitely be in the squad, he could be one to watch.

Watkins Ahead of Bowen, Nketiah in England Pecking Order

Eddie Nketiah earned his first England cap earlier this season, but he has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, and it would now be a surprise to see him on the plane this summer. The bookies take a particularly dim view on his prospects of making the final cut. Ollie Watkins has had a good season for a high-flying Aston Villa team. His 11 goals is the same number as Jarrod Bowen, but most betting sites see Watkins are the far more likely to make the trip than Bowen.

Another two strikers who could have a say in the final squad are Ivan Toney of Brentford and Dominc Solanke of Bournemouth. Solanke won his only capo for England as a 19-year-old in 2017, but he is now the leading English scorer in the Premier League this season with 13. Toney has only just returned from a ban but has really hit the ground running with two goals in three matches. If he keeps that up, eh could be a shoo in to make the squad.

Foreign Based Players Still in With a Chance

New betting sites haven't completely ruled out the chances of making the squad of a number of players plying their trade overseas. Fikayo Tomori has been a huge part of AC Milan's success in the last couple of seasons and could be one of the last names to make the squad. The chances of his Milan team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek perhaps aren't as strong, even if he has a good finish to the season.

Tammy Abraham is in a race against time to be fit for the tournament after suffering a serious knee injury last summer. He was on the fringes of the squad prior to that so could have a chance if he can get fit before the season ends. Jordan Henderson moved to Ajax in the winter transfer window and looks almost certain to make the squad when it is announced, but the same can't be said for Jadon Sancho afte rhis loan move back to Borussia Dortmund in January.
