Tip 1 - 2:33 Fairyhouse - Banana Three

The form of Banana Three’s most recent run really stands out in the context of this race. He was beaten five lengths by Struck By Churchill, who subsequently won a race on the flat and followed it up with a good effort in a listed handicap. This race is packed with unexposed horses, but of those who have seen a racecourse before, Banana Three stands out as the form pick, and it’ll take something above average to beat him.

Tip 2 - 2:55 Killarney - Martinelli

Prior to not getting home over a mile and six furlongs at Navan last time out, Martinelli had run a string of solid races. The run that stands out is his effort at Galway in August, where he was held up in rear and had to wait for a gap to appear. Once it did, he flew home but didn’t have enough track left to catch the leaders. The booking of Colin Keane this afternoon catches the eye, and with a little more luck in running, he should go close.

Tip 3 - 3:02 Pontefract - Good Morning Alex

Good Morning Alex has disappointed the last two races but had previously won four of five prior to a couple of months off this summer. The last of those victories came in a 0-78, so today’s 0-80 should be within reach. Won by one-and-a-quarter lengths that day, with the second and third home winning next time out to frank the form. Paul Mulrennan takes the ride, and he has a £1 level stakes profit of £75.51 on three-year-olds on turf in the last five years.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
