Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 1:00 Lingfield - Agostino

This should be a competitive sprint, and our vote goes to four-year-old Agostino, who has been in decent form of late with a win and second at Chelmsford. Up a pound from latest second and has previously hit the frame here three times so clearly enjoys the conditions. Has a great inside draw for this sprint, so as long as he doesn’t miss the break, he should be in with a good shout.

Tip 2 - 1:05 Thurles - Baltinglass Hill

Someone’s Wish from the Gordon Elliott yard is sure to be popular in the betting, but preference is for Baltinglass Hill. He’s had just the two runs over fences. One of them came here at Thurles a year ago, where he led going to the last before getting outstayed over two furlongs further than today’s trip. A recent spin at Sligo wasn’t without promise too, and racing off a mark that’s 9lb below his hurdles rating should see him go close.

Tip 3 - 2:25 Warwick - Eldorado Allen

A valuable veterans' chase looks like a great place for another opportunity to take advantage of Freddie Gingell’s 3lb claim. Down the field last time out in the Grand National isn’t a bad run, considering that stamina test can stop most horses. Down to a rating of 150 and still only 10 years old, there is certainly headroom in that mark to exploit.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
