Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is the favourite for the sack with football betting sites after his team's disastrous collapse against Chelsea saw them go from 3-2 up deep into stoppage time to losing 4-3. This followed an abysmal performance in their 1-1 draw with Brentford, and they followed the Chelsea defeat up with a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, and betting sites think he could be under big pressure. This has only increased as his side gave up a 3-0 lead in the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City and were a tight offside call from losing in extra time only to prevail on penalties. United then struggled to a 1-1 draw with Burnley at the weekend, with Ten Hag making further excuses.

Jurgen Klopp has now been taken out of the market with many UK betting sites. With his departure set for the end of the season, it makes compiling a market easier without his name in it. David Moyes is back under the spotlight at West Ham after his team went 4-0 down to Crystal Palace in the first half and went on to lose 5-2, but the pressure eased after a 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Mauricio Pochettino has seemingly been under pressure every other game this season, and the way his Chelsea side capitulated to lose 5-0 against Arsenal has the vultures circling once again.

There have only been four Premier League, managerial casualties so far this season. Though, given the fast moving nature of football these days, at Nottingham Forest, Nuno Espirito Santo is already seen as just a 16/1 shot to be the next manager sacked with some betting apps, and Chris Wilder is just 8/1 to lose his job with Sheffield United as he struggled to arrest the slide of his team since taking over for Paul Heckingbottom.

Ten Hag Prominent in Sack Race Market

Erik ten Hag has experienced a difficult second season at Old Trafford, with Manchester United making an early Champions League exit and looking unlikely to qualify for the same competition this season. The Dutchman had seen an upturn in form in the new year, even if performances have not hit the high standards demanded by some fans. The odds with the best betting sites had drifted after United knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup, but they have shortened again following a string of poor performances in the league against Brentford, Chelsea and Bournemouth, and they nearly let slip a 3-0 lead to Championship Coventry in the FA Cup semi-final, only to win on penalties.

Wilder Close to the Exit Door Again

New betting sites think that Chris Wilder is again one of the most vulnerable managers in the Premier League. They have at least started scoring goals despite not getting a win, after a run of three games without scoring while conceding 12, and that run has probably pushed Wilder closer to the exit door yet again.

While a return to the Championship was always seen as the most likely outcome this season, it is the manner in which they may return that has fans dismayed. The writing is already on the wall, and the only question is if the Sheff Utd board want to be seen to making the same mistake again by sacking Wilder during the season.

Can Pochettino Last 2 Years at Chelsea?

Chelsea sit 9th in the Premier League table after collecting eight points from their last five games.  Mauricio Pochettino had stated that fans will see an improved team in the New Year, and there were some encouraging signs away at Man City. But the fans were brought back down to earth when they lost the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool's youngsters.

Owner Todd Boehly will certainly hope so, with over a billion pounds spent on the team, and the idea was that the Blues would be capable of challenging for the Premier League title in the mid to long-term.

Pochettino is still under pressure to deliver results. The Blues are closer to the drop zone than the top of the table, and the Argentine will have expected more points on the board at this stage of the season.

Kompany Needs to Address Turf Moor Form

The new betting sites have been shortening Vincent Kompany's betting odds on the Premier League Sack Race market during the course of the season, and he is now the clear favourite.

24 points and just 38 goals from 35 matches is a meagre return for Burnley after a brilliant promotion campaign, but they have picked up five points from their last three league games. It would still be a surprise if Kompany was replaced at Turf Moor, although the Clarets are currently losing the battle to stay afloat, and have been dumped out of the FA Cup.

David Moyes Under Pressure at West Ham

For much of last season, many of the best betting sites had David Moyes as among the favourites to be sacked as the Hammers struggled for domestic form. They managed to turn things around to easily avoid relegation and even lifted silverware in the form of the Europa Conference League. This gave Moyes some breathing room, and while the team's league form is better than it was for much of last season, the inconsistency of the team and the style of play has led to discontent among some supporters.

West Ham started the year with eight games without a win in all competitions, including and embarrassing 6-0 drubbing by Arsenal, which left Moyes perilously close to the sack, according to odds at football betting sites. They then put together a good run of form, but Moyes is back under the spotlight after his team went 4-0 inside the first 31 minutes against Crystal Palace before losing 5-2.

Klopp To Step Down At The End Of The Season

Jurgen Klopp has decided to bring the curtain down on a brilliant eight-and-a-half year spell with Liverpool at the end of the season. The fact that we know he will be leaving was enough to see him near the top of the next manager to leave market. However, now most betting sites have betting without Klopp in their markets available.

The next Liverpool Manager betting odds can be found here.

Eddie Howe Could be Vulnerable At Newcastle

Eddie Howe is widely considered to have been a massive success at Newcastle United since taking charge at St James' Park. He has passed his two-year anniversary at the Tyneside club, having kept the Magpies afloat in the top-flight in his first season in charge. He was then able to build a team that finished fourth in the Premier League last season to qualify for Champions League football.

Things haven't been plain sailing in Europe or the league this season, with Newcastle having finished bottom of their Champions League group. However, a 4-3 win against high flying West Ham saw a drift in Howe's odds to leave, but he is one to keep an eye on as Newcastle are 14 points away from fourth place after winning four times in their last six league games.

Iraola Now Has Breathing Space at Bournemouth

Betting sites made Andoni Iraola the odds-on favourite in their Sack Race earlier in the season, although the Spaniard is now starting to get a tune out of the Cherries who are now up to thirteenth in the Premier League table.

Eyebrows were raised when Gary O'Neil was sacked at the Vitality Stadium before the Dorset club appointed Iraola as manager. Iraola earned rave reviews at Rayo Vallecano and Bournemouth have recently landed ten points from their past four matches.

Previously to his appointment, Iraola had no experience of managing in England and initially struggled to be successful in a hugely competitive league, although things are now looking up for a club who have established daylight between themselves and the bottom teams.
